Hey, hey, girls and happy Friday! We are 2 weeks into our school year and I feel like I’m finally starting to find my stride. With the littlest in [close to] full-day Pre-K, I’ve been able to reclaim some of my time – continuing to settle in the house [crazy that it’s been a year!], work on the blog and with decorating clients and I’m even playing tennis in the early hours of the morning before school drop-off! So let’s catch up a little… here is The Friday Five!

THE FRIDAY FIVE
ONE // ENDLESS SUMMER | CUTEST NEW COVER-UP FIND
I’m just not ready for Fall yet. And that’s a good thing because we will still be seeing temps over 100 degrees all the way through September! If you’re hanging on to Summer like me or maybe have a trip or vacation planned, I’ve got a versatile new cover-up option that can be worn as an open-front top over a tank! I recently grabbed this long gauze button-down and love the look so much!
Wear it to the beach or pool…
…or as an outfit!
There are several colors to choose from and I have the apricot in a size small.
TWO // MUST-TRY SNACK
When my sweet tooth craving kicks in, I’ve been trying to curb it with healthier options. [But gosh, sometimes I want to dive head first into the boys’ Oreos and other treats ;)] We recently tried these Dark Chocolate Keto Nuggets and fell in love! They are made with coconut, pumpkin, quinoa & sunflower seeds and are absolutely delicious. I like to keep the bag in the fridge or freezer – so GOOD!
THREE // MOM HACK FOR PESKY BUG BITES!
For all the outdoor activities that get ruined by mosquito bites! A girlfriend of mine recently acquired a small business, Nature’s Willow and she sent me some products to try! We are currently loving the Bug Bite Balm! The small tube size is great to throw in your purse or bag or evening sports or just to have a couple tucked away at home!
A little background info…
Nature’s Willow is a line of natural pain and itch relief made from Willow Bark (nature’s Aspirin) and essential oils with anti-inflammatory properties, so it basically works like topical aspirin. All products are non-toxic, paraben & dye-free with no artificial fragrances. Created by a Tennessee daughter to ease her mother’s fibromyalgia pain. It’s made in Onterio and HQ’d in Cincinnati, OH.
Nature’s Willow products can be found on Amazon so be sure to grab a couple of products to try! I love that they are safe & natural and perfect for on-the-go. Plus, it feels so good to be able to support a small business at the same time!
They even have a lotion that provides relief from minor skin irritations, scrapes, sunburns and insect bites, as well as an itch relief patch and spa grade bath soak!
FOUR // 11 YEARS!
We celebrated our 11-year anniversary last weekend on 7/30 with our annual anniversary round of golf and then out for dinner and drinks. A full day with 2 separate babysitter blocks but we got it done!
I get out to play about 3-4 times a year and our anniversary has turned out to be one of them each year. It was a hot day, but we had a lot of fun. I joked that with a July anniversary and now that we live in Arizona, we might have to rethink our tradition and switch it up with an indoor spa day!
Dinner at one of my favorite spots, The Hidden House, and a nightcap at Black Sheep Wine Bar. We were home by 8 and on the couch watching a show so I’d say it was perfect.
FIVE // ABERCROMBIE JEANS ARE 30% OFF!
I’ve fallen in love with the curve love line at A&F and these high-rise curve love split front hem ones have been a fun addition to my collection!
These jeans were a top seller last week, so if you haven’t grabbed them yet, do so while they’re on sale! They are actually marked down on clearance and then an additional 25% off – making them $29.99 from $89.
RUN!
I wear a 27 in Abercrombie jeans and this pair is also another favorite [I have it in ripped medium wash & ripped black]! You can see more faves below:
